Is your favorite coffee drink flooding your body with the equivalent calories of a full meal? With 75% of Americans drinking at least one cup of coffee a day, and a fair percentage of those drinking the syrupy concoctions that pass for coffee at Starbucks, McDonalds and other popular coffee shops, is it any wonder that coffee is making it into the list of no-no's for dieters?

It's also no wonder that the health-conscious anchors of NBC's Today show decided to pick on coffee drinks as being among those fattening treats that we need to avoid. First, let me go on record as stating that coffee is not the problem in these drinks. If people were drinking unadulterated coffee - or even coffee with milk and one lump or two - coffee wouldn't come under this kind of microscope. That's borne out by the Today show's list of the worst four coffee drinks in America. Just take a look at the drinks that they chose and the ingredients that go into them.

With 580 calories and 22 grams of fat (15 of them saturated), this coffee drink is about the equivalent of drinking a Big Mac. It's also loaded with about as much sugar as you'll find in a half dozen donuts. What do you drink instead of a Venti White Chocolate Mocha? Today suggests a Venti Caffee Misto with a squirt of caramel sauce for 130 calories. I'd suggest a double shot latte with skim milk and Equal.

Yep, Dunkins made the list of baddies, too. The Frozen Cappuccino with whole milk packs a whopping 610 calories, including 8 grams of fat, 123 grams of carbs and as much sugar as you'll find in four Twinkies. What to drink instead? Today suggests swapping out your large Frozen Cappuccino for a medium Coffee Coolatta with skim milk. I say skip the Coolatta and grab yourself an extra large Dunkin Iced Coffee with cream and one sugar to cut out about 550 calories.

McDonald's mocha is not much more than a cup of hot chocolate with an added shot of espresso - and a lot of sugar and cream. Add whipped cream and sprinkles and you're really packing in the calories - about 400 of them, including 8 grams of saturated fat and .5 grams of trans fat. What to drink at Mickey D's? Today suggests a large cappuccino at 180 calories. That's pretty outrageous still - skip the McCafe menu and order a Newman's Own Organics coffee the way you like it. If you MUST go for the sugary treat, ask the counter girl for a dollop of soft serve vanilla ice cream and stir it in. You'll still be better off.

Top four secret ways to approaching women succesfully

Men are always trying to find out how to approach women, by asking the wrong questions about it. It ussualy goes something like this "but what do I say?"... But, but "what if she says this" or "what do I say to a girl who looks this?". (to see how you stack up in comparison to other men, check out the quiz at the bottom)
The reason those questions are wrong is because an average 10 minute conversation upon approaching a woman involves more words exchanged, than would fit inside a small novel. Further, it's almost always *different*. If someone tried to give you a "what" to say for every single action, sentence or question she utters, you'd be left with a library the size of the U.S. congress.
So... what do we do? Are we hopeless? Can't this stuff be learned or taught?
Actually it can. There is a little secret that we are going to call "mindset". What is a mindset? It's simply the way you mentally represent something. A situation or concept. It's how you look at it. What's magical about a mindset is that a simple 1-sentence "mindset" will *magically* give you all the right actions to *do* in that situation. In regards to women, if you have a certain mindset about meeting them, that mindset will tell you exactly what to say and how to react. Here are the top 4 mindsets about approaching women:
1) Casual and friendly
In this mindset, you look at approaching and meeting the woman as you would socializing with your friends. It's just being friendly. If you have that mindset, when you approach the woman, you will automatically talk to her as you would to a neighbour. You would say something like "hey! How are you. Yeah? So what's new? Aha, ok. Yeah, did you see this band last night? Yeah... cool". You wouldn't ask her out formally. You would end up asking her to tag along with you to wherever you're going socially. Like you would ask out a new friend. Everything she says and does, you would react to as if you would to a female friend... If she starts getting aprehensive, you would do like you would with a friend "hey, what's up? had a bad day? Yeah, like last night? You won't belive what happened to me too... Can't believe it..."
2) Gentlemanly & Traditional
This is the old chivalrous mindset. I am approaching a woman with utter respect and gentleman like behaviour. In this you would end up saying something "excuse me miss, I wouldn't want to bother you, I saw you here and I thought to introduce myself"... and then you would formally ask her out like "I would be happy if you would come with me to dinner, maybe tommorow?". In all of the approach and conversation you would act as a gentleman would. If she starts (to use the previous example) acting somewhat standoffish, you would say "I apologize if I maybe was too forward? If you wish, I will leave. I do not want to make you uncomfortable".
**Do you see how this works? Instead of learning and memorizing what to say, and do in every possible situation, you simply get the mindset, and everything else comes out of it**
3) Direct and no-nonsense serious
This is an approach where you cut off all games, all unnecessary fluf and display and show exactly what you're thinking, and what your intent is. You present her the choice. You're interested, and want to know if she is too. You don't have the time for games, flirting or anything unless you know she's in for more. In such a mindset you would approach a woman like this "Hey, I find you attractive, and would love it if you would go out with me". If she says something like "Wow, do you ask approach every girl like this? Are you like a player", you would say "Maybe, I'm in a hurry really, just tell me if you're interested. Either way is fine"
4) Fun & Enthusiastic
I'm just having a ton of fun meeting people, and making them laugh. In fact i'm amusing myself with approaching people. In this you would say the funniest self-amusing thing you could at the moment of approaching her. No, not to impress her, but whatever is funny to *you*. You might do something like "ooooh mi god!!!! HELEN!?!? I haven't seen you in such a long time helen!!" She says smiling "no i'm not helen, i'm maria". You say "Ohmigod! You've even changed your name!! Wow" At which point she laughs. Btw, do not memorize this example... It's just an example... the point of a mindset is to have the mindset, and get everything (words and actions) coming up on the spot. In this mindset, if a woman were to say something like "oh, wow, do you approach women all the time or something?", you would say something like "ALL THE TIME! Just yesterday I like approached Angelina Jolie and we got married... yeah, in like 10 minutes"... Joking around and being outrageous.
If you have the right mindset on mind... Most of the rest comes automatically. As for how to use these? Well the truth is some women respond to one of these better than to the others. Women are different, but so are men... Meaning, you're going to like and find more suitable to yourself... one of these, more than the others. So try all 4 of them out, and see which one suits you, which one brings out who you are the most.
